A day off for helping a good cause. Today was the regional ski and snowboard championship for the Special Olympics at Eldora. Despite gusty winds, heavy snow, and cold temperatures, the competitors put in strong performances. A good reminder for those of us more fortunate in our life lottery of what is really important.
